"To be honest, I like going to places where I am challenging myself to think positive about the service and food. As I see most of the reviews complaining about the service, I decided to enter and judge myself the whole thing. 1. First thing I saw was the couple that sings. They sang beautifully and many of the songs were known by me. So, I was recording them and singing. 2. I sat there for about 40 minutes and no one moved to ask me what to order. Instead, I called two waiters and finally the sent the waitress assigned to the table. 3. My waitress was a Venezuelan lady who was very kind. She even took a pic for us. It is loud there. If you want to have a conversation, sit outside or inside far away from the salon in the entrance. Good GIN and tonic. I had two shots of Jose Cuervo."

"Beer town was cool, but the little speakeasy downstairs through the red London phone booth was amazing. The bartenders really set the tone with lots of energy. They surprised my friend and me with our drinks. Def visit if in Antigua."

"Lovvveeeddd this place. They had a live band signing new songs and classics (in Spanish).The food was also amazing, the patacones with carne desmechada, chiplote sauce and suero appetizer is a must-have."

"I liked Beertown a lot, there was good atmosphere and the live performances were great! Food wise, we ordered ribs, which were fall of the bone yummy (was not expecting that!), a shrimp cocktail (shrimp were fresh and bite size, the onions were a bit too much and too big for me. The plantain chips were delicious dipped in the cocktail sauce). We also ordered burgers which were juicy and huge! Lol Cocktails had the regular and blue margaritas, they were ok, but nothing to brag about. The caipirinhas and mojitos were the stars of the night!"
